About
The Indies
The Indies is an attempt by a small group of people to bring some cheer to this small section of the music industry and it is a result of pure passion and love for music.
The idea at the core of The Indies is to celebrate the best music released by artists and bands in the indie scene and has to be non-film. As much as awards are a platform to applaud and reward good work, they are a reason for all of us to get together and celebrate music.
Initiated during the pandemic when the loss of livelihood was very much evident in the music industry, The Indies started as a way to find reason to cheer for the independent music community who were still putting the work.
Now four years running and prepping the fifth edition of The Indies, we are scaling our dedication to independent musicians everywhere.
